Safer Streets Herefordshire
Case study delivering award winning Safer Streets campaign with West Mercia Police
Overview
This PR case study for West Mercia Police highlights how You Do Better Ltd provided project management and PR support to deliver the Safer Streets ‘Time for Change’ campaign across Herefordshire.
It takes all of us to end violence
against women and girls.
It’s time for change.
Working closely with West Mercia Police, partners and stakeholder groups, You Do Better led the coordination and delivery of a multi-channel campaign focused on tackling violence against women and girls. The initiative formed part of the Home Office Safer Streets programme and aimed to drive behavioural change, raise awareness and improve community safety.
The challenge
This PR case study for West Mercia Police required a carefully managed, multi-stakeholder approach to deliver a sensitive and high-impact campaign across a wide geographic area.
The campaign needed to communicate a clear and powerful message around violence against women and girls. At the same time engaging different audiences including local communities, students and night time economy users. Messaging had to remain consistent and accessible as well as impactful across all channels.
Managing multiple partners, timelines and campaign phases while ensuring alignment with police objectives and public expectations added further complexity.
