The Independent recently reported that teenagers are spending 12 hours a day online swiping through social media, without looking at a single piece of content for more than a few seconds. This is important news for brands marketing to Generation Z and younger, as their attention span gets smaller, so does the need for brands marketing material. Contrary to these findings, Instagram introduced its latest Instagram IGTV app last week, where users are able to post videos up to an hour long.
